What is Superland?
Superland is a story creation app that is flipping the script on storytelling. With Superland you create your superhero world and then listening to stories from that world. The process of creating your world and listening to the stories from it we believe supports your child in becoming a great storyteller. The best part? The creating and listening activities all cultivates the four c:s of Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication. We hope you and your child loves it!
How are the stories created?
It’s a collaboration between the outlines we have created together with a children’s book author and AI. We have set the scene for the world, defined the outline of the stories and then supercharge them with AI to make sure your very own hero, their friends and whatever else you make along the way is part of the new stories that are made. We aim to build the most entertaining creations with the most best mechanisms in place to create a safe and creative environment for all kids. You can share in the app, how does that work?
Yes, you can share an episode or a creation if you want to. This is behind a parent gate of course. How it works is that a webpage is created with that audio file that you want to share. That’s it. There’s no personal information, no possibility to contact or to chat. It’s just a web page with an audio file that plays the story.
Who’s behind Superland? We’re a team from Lego, Toca Boca and Game Analytics.
We have experience in building products for kids with trust, fun and interactivity at the centre of it. We’re on a mission to bring everything of this to Superland.
How does Superland make money? We don’t right now. In the future we see a subscription as the best way for both parents and kid to enjoy the experience.
Is Superland available in other languages? Not at the moment, but we’re working on it. If you have a language that you would like to see added, please let us know via email below.
Are there any advertisements in the Superland app? There are no third party advertising in Superland.
